Background

I have enjoyed working on cars for as long as I can remember. I re-built my first car, a mini, in my parents' garage when I was sixteen and could not wait to get behind the wheel. Since then I have re-built, repaired and customized countless cars.

I joined the British Royal Air Force as a motor vehicle technician and spent spare time buying old or damaged cars and re-building them, invariably finishing them off with a decent set of alloys. After Twelve years service in the military my family and I decided we needed a new adventure and emigrated to Nova Scotia, where I began working in a truck repair center. While driving home during winter 2008 my Audi hit a pothole, scraping a wheel. I soon discovered it was virtually impossible to locate a wheel refinishing company in the area and realised this was a much needed provision that was obviously lacking.

I decided to provide the service myself.
